Lady Solicitor Personal Injury Claim Lady Justice Old Bailer

Accident Claim in the Dock

Mrs W was asked to go along to her local Magistrates Court to give witness evidence at a hearing. Due to her ill health Mrs W was told she could sit down when giving her evidence. As she did so the bench in the witness box collapsed, causing her to fall and suffer a jarring injury to her back and neck.

The Defendants admitted liability for the accident and a medical report was obtained in respect of her injury.

The medical report confirmed that she suffered soft tissue injuries for two to three months following her accident and her personal injury compensation claim settled for a compensation award of £1,750.

Under Slee Blackwell Solicitors’ 100% compensation guarantee, Mrs W received her £1,750 in full. Mrs W’s solicitors’ costs and legal expenses were recovered from the defendant.
